Total Distance: Approx. 150 km.
Dates:
August 8, 2010
We'll start on the outskirts of Caledon, then wind through Belfountain, and the Caledon hills on our way to Hockley Valley. You'll be impressed by the small area of badlands visible from an adjacent road along the way.
We'll head further north along the Niagara Escarpment through beautiful scenery and spectacular panoramas, this time, looking north towards Georgian Bay.
Our destination is the highest elevation in Southern Ontario and the birthplace of four major river systems. We'll ride winding roads through rolling hills and forests.
Lunch will be in a distinctive local eatery in the Hills.
