2 ½ day fun ride through Muskoka and Haliburton and some of the best riding in Ontario!. We’ll leave mid afternoon on Friday and follow paved secondary roads through farm country, scenic towns and villages, valleys, forests, rock formations, and lakes. We've discovered some unique local eateries, tea houses, and quality craft shops throughout the area which we'll share with you.
Both nights will be spent at the Gaia Centre – a very special discovery and retreat in the heart of the Haliburton highlands. We’ll use it as our base of operations and have an opportunity to explore the grounds, partake in some optional activities and be guided through some wonderful scenery. We’ll arrive Friday evening in time for desserts and refreshments. Later in the evening, we’ll experience a Fire and Drum Circle with Bazza a certified Drum Facilitator who will initiate an unforgettable experience for us.
Saturday, there is time for an early morning reflective walk through the paths on the grounds. After a Gaia glorious breakfast, with local fruits and fair trade teas and coffee, we’ll guide you through the area and some spectacular riding and return in time to swim, canoe or hike. Following a Gaia glorious dinner, we’ll be treated to a cosmic fire and enjoy sparks, spirits and surprise with Storyteller Carol Kilby.
On Sunday, before we leave, there’s time for a silent walk on the Gaia Farmhouse trails. Our guide will take you to their eco- retreat’s ‘forest rooms’ where you’ll look through hanging windows at the beauty, wisdom and ways of the natural world.
