Tours

Overview/FAQ’s

Over the past seven years, our clients have covered most of the roads in Ontario – through guided tours and carefully crafted customized packages.
While we no longer offer the packaged tours that were an integral part of our services, we are happy to custom design a self-guided tour for your touring pleasure.  Trillium offers a unique value in that your tour is based on the research of tens of thousands of miles of riding in Ontario and the favorable experience of hundreds of clients.
We’re happy to share our expertise to maximize your riding time and enjoyment.

FAQ’s -  What our clients have asked:

Why would I want to have a custom designed tour?
Because we do so much riding, we’ve become very familiar with the best roads, great food stops and out of the way places you can easily miss. We enjoy visiting unique, more personal establishments - the hidden jewels - whenever possible.
We believe that experiencing the local flavor makes your ride more personal and memorable. Sharing our expertise with you and planning all the details like routes, accommodations and meals, means you can just sit back and enjoy the ride, knowing that it’s all looked after.

What kind of places do we stay in?
Trillium carefully selects accommodations based on your preferences and budget. We’ve patronize local establishments as much as possible.  Not only have we found them to be very welcoming,  it also gives you a better chance to savor the local experience and enhances your overall experience.

What type of riding gear should I bring?
Gloves, jacket, chaps, or riding pants are normal riding apparel of the motorcyclist on tour.  Be prepared for a changing weather conditions.  We strongly recommend you wear appropriate motorcycle specific protective gear for the duration of the tour.

How far do we ride in a day?
Again, this depends on individual preferences and we’ll work with you to plan the right travel for you.  Daily distances will vary with experience level, others in the group, road conditions (100 miles on a twisty road is much different than 100 miles on a straight road), points of interest along the way. It’s important to allow time to enjoy the ride and not overplan, especially with multiple riders.  A trip will be more relaxing and enjoyable if you’re not under the pressure of commitment.
