"After attending one of Trillium’s 1-Day retreats, the passion Liz exudes for both motorcycling and the empowerment of the individual is evident in every detail. From the careful pace of the agenda, to the delicious home cooked lunch, to the insightful discussions and beneficial yoga techniques, it was a wonderful escape from day to day life to focus on myself at a deeper level. Thanks Liz," Karen
Re the 1-Day Retreat:
"A day of personalized, introspective learning guided by an experienced, well travelled motorcyclist that deepens one's awareness of the joy of riding." Sky
“I’ve wanted to ride for as long as I can remember - but never made room/time for it in my life. Now I can’t imagine life without it. This was my first group adventure, it exceeded my expectations and I look forward to more! :-), :-), :-) “ Helen
"Being a new rider (1 year) this workshop provided invaluable insight into the general operation and required maintenance for my motorcycle. I would highly recommend it even for experienced riders as an excellent knowledge refresher that will lend itself to trouble-free riding." S.E. Edwards
“After the workshop I went home and cleaned my bike and looked it over….found a cable that wasn’t attached, my tire pressure was incorrect and my clutch cable needed to be lubed….I took the bike to my local shop to rectify the cable problem and the mechanic was impressed at how clean my bike and chain were. Even though the clinic was focused on winterizing my bike I learned some basic information that has left me more confident and in an odd way, more connected to my bike!” Janet
“I do know that whatever direction you guide Trillium in, it will be done with careful consideration and expansive vision. You have no idea how amazed people I know are (and a bit envious) of your endeavours. You certainly know how to inspire.” Stafford E.
“What a pleasant surprise to open the Wheels section & to see your article. Great reading as always. I think your stories are just as inspirational for men as they are for women. Thanks for the motivation.” Doug A.
“It was a great day out and a very enjoyable route. Always enjoy joining Trillium Tours for a ride. The group connected and rode well together. Another job well done!” Judy
"The trip and accommodations were, as usual, first class. The roads you chose were a joy to ride and I can't remember having more fun on the bike..... times that just put a smile (or silly grin) on my face." Peter
“Your firm was most generous in providing the expert organization support of Trillium…This event remains a highly valued day and unique event.” Corporate Client
“Great planning and great rides. I recommend trillium tours to all my friends.” Hish
"Liz is a wonderful person and great teacher. She really knows her stuff but never makes you feel stupid for asking questions or not knowing the basics of your motorcycle. She is adamant about safety and makes sure you leave wiser and safer." Sandra

“I was used to riding only with my husband (Jim), or at most, a group of 3 bikes. I enjoyed the new challenge and excitement of being in a larger group and getting to know new people. People that enjoy motorcycles seem to have a common bond and yet, each possesses their own individuality, character and life experiences. Riding with a group was a new adventure for me. I was inspired by the women in the group who knew how to check their tires and change their oil! Since coming home from the trip, I have had a lesson on oiling my chain and am determined to become more independent with some of the bike maintenance. My goal is to become confident enough to go on one of the women-only rides. Jim enjoyed the ride and would join another ride. I think for him, he especially enjoyed not having to navigate, which allowed him to just enjoy the ride and the scenery.” Lou
“As in my other Trillium Tours, this one also exceeded my expectations. It was more than a ride; it was a memorable vacation, for both Becky and me. The riding was terrific and the overall experience was enhanced by the thought and planning that went into the tour by the organizers.”
“This trip had the added benefit for me of having my wife join in the fun, even though she does not venture onto the motorcycle. She rode in the chase vehicle, but was still able to participate in all the activities. The result is, we can both share the memories of a most pleasant tour of the Lake Superior region.” Marv H.
“This was the greatest workshop, the instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful, he went above and beyond with helping me with my bike. I am a new rider with only a little over a month experience riding and this workshop really helped me feel more confident and comfortable with my bike. I would recommend it to all women starting out riding as everything you learn at it is very empowering.“ Anita L.
"Trillium provides a worthwhile and fun program for anyone who wants to ride and undertake simple maintenance on their bike. The cost of this program pays for itself after just one oil change accomplished using my new-found skill set." Denny Allen Denny Allen Media Relations
“This was my first tour with Trillium but it won't be my last. Liz and her guides were wonderful leaders, the scenery was breathtaking, the B & B was terrific. I have told friends and family that the trip was one of the highlights of my life and I plan on doing more with Trillium in the future.” Peter B., Welland, Ont
“Thank you so much for an amazing weekend trip! I thoroughly enjoyed the route - filled with hills, straight-aways and some awesome curves. The stops along the way, our final destination (with hot-tub) were wonderful and the group dynamic was a blast! In addition to riding with someone of your calibre - being able to watch your experience and skill, the support you provided has given me the confidence boost I needed. You took me to riding levels that I did not have the courage to do on my own. This trip gave me the experience of my longest ride to date, together with my longest solo ride. Kudos to you and your guides! I look forward to another trip with Trillium Tours in the future. “ Veronica, Brantford.
“The ride was absolutely fantastic, thank you so much. The route from (A) was euphoric, 33km of winding roads, we had to stop and take a picture at the road sign actually. Once we got into the winding twisting, tree lined roads, I found myself hooting and hollering with pleasure. The loop after (B) as well as the route down from (C) was absolutely wonderful. We had an awesome ride thanks to your carefully planned route.” Brian P. (Self-Guided Ride)
“Thought you would appreciate some feedback on our trip. In short it was spectacular. I spent most of the time riding around with a stupid grin on my face. Thanks so much. I feel the value was well worth it and appreciate you putting the package together. Will recommend your services to other friends of mine.” Robert & Heidi (Self-Guided Ride)
“Many thanks for the wonderful tour this weekend! It was the longest bike trip my brother & I have done, and it was most enjoyable. Your knowledge of the areas visited kept us on the "road less traveled", which added to the enjoyment of the trip as well as providing us with wonderful gems to visit in the future. And to top it off, your riding experience, insights & advice corrected some deficiencies in my riding technique which will most certainly help me with my M test next year! What a bonus!”
“Looking forward to booking a trip with you in the near future!” Frank
“This letter is a bit late, but it isn’t that I haven’t been thinking about you and what you enabled me to do, every time I ride.
Last week-end I went on a poker run, in Peel Region and drove into the city (Mavis and Dundas area). I never thought I would be doing that on my motorcycle.”
“I feel that the lessons I took with you made it that I was confident in my riding skills.
Before I came to you with my problem riding, I was about to give up. Riding a motorcycle did not come easy for me and I guess I didn’t know where to turn for help. I had been to the extra lessons at *.* and that didn’t help. After the first lesson with you I felt a hundred times better about my riding. As you know I wanted to ride, and was able to drive on back roads, but as soon as others were around, I lost all confidence and slowed down or even fell down. You teaching me the basics of motorcycle riding, left turns, right turns and curves have made my riding more enjoyable. After three short lessons from you, I passed the *.* test with a perfect score. I would highly recommend you teach anyone having problems riding. It was the best investment that I made in my riding. I ride more than anyone in my family now and I am able to enjoy the thrill and excitement and freedom of motorcycle riding.” Laurie
“Well the final leg of my journey was not nearly as much fun on my own, but non-eventful.”
“I wanted to send you this note to thank you again for providing such a wonderful introduction to touring for me. The B&B would have been perfect, if it weren't for the noisy bikers in the hot tub until 11:00 o'clock at night - oh right, that was us :-) It's so obvious that this is not just a business venture for you - but a labour of love and it shows in every aspect. “
“Anyway - I hope to get out with Trillium again next year too. I had such a good time - and learned a lot too. In fact the more I learn, the more I realize there is to learn and I have barely scratched the surface yet. “ Patti
