I enjoyed the new challenge and excitement of being in a larger group and getting to know new people. People that enjoy motorcycles seem to have a common bond and yet, each possesses their own individuality, character and life experiences. Riding with a group was a new adventure for me. I was inspired by the women in the group who knew how to check their tires and change their oil! Since coming home from the trip, I have had a lesson on oiling my chain and am determined to become more independent with some of the bike maintenance. My goal is to become confident enough to go on one of the women-only rides. Jim enjoyed the ride and would join another ride. Last week-end I went on a poker run, in Peel Region and drove into the city (Mavis and Dundas area). Before I came to you with my problem riding, I was about to give up. Riding a motorcycle did not come easy for me and I guess I didn’t know where to turn for help. As you know I wanted to ride, and was able to drive on back roads, but as soon as others were around, I lost all confidence and slowed down or even fell down. I would highly recommend you teach anyone having problems riding. It was the best investment that I made in my riding.
